At Unity Drainage Solutions, our drainage work isn't always about clearing a blockage. Sometimes, finding and accessing existing drainage infrastructure requires careful excavation to uncover pipework that has been buried for years.
Recently, our team carried out excavation works in the Old Drumchapel area of Glasgow, uncovering buried drainage and an existing trap as part of works to create a live connection for a garage run-off drain.
Excavating the buried drainage
The existing drainage arrangement was located beneath the ground and around the garage/driveway area.
Careful excavation was required to expose the buried drainage and establish where the existing pipework and trap were located.
